VORTEX makes the exhaust work differently

Conventional exhaust systems by their design stifle engines. Exhaust pipes, silencers and catalytic converters rely on a build up of pressure to force gas through and out of the exhaust system. Consequently, backpressure builds in the exhaust manifold reducing engine efficiency. By comparison, the revolutionary VORTEX high performance muffler vacuums exhaust gases out, vastly reducing manifold pressure and improving engine performance and efficiency.

VORTEX mechanics are key

The unique design of VORTEX mufflers incorporates VORTEX MECHANICS – a system of swirl tubes with no moving parts, inside a central chamber – which creates a gas spinning effect within the exhaust system. This turbine effect draws exhaust gases out at high speed, allowing the engine to breathe and run more freely. VORTEX muffler sizes

The VORTEX high performance muffler is available in three standard lengths of 23'', 25'' and 29'' and four diameters of 2'', 2.25'', 2.5'' and 3''. This allows fitting to most vehicles.

We recommend the 23” muffler for most 4 cylinders vehicles and 25” for most medium sized 6 and 8 cylinder vehicles and 4 wheel drives. It is advisable to measure your existing muffler to get the right fitting.

The 29” muffler is usually used on larger commercial vans and light trucks, once again measuring the existing muffler is advisable.

VORTEX race muffler

The VORTEX high performance race muffler is available in three standard lengths of 23'', 25'' and 29'' and four diameters of 2'', 2.25'', 2.5'' and 3'' and is only made from high-grade stainless steelhe VORTEX race muffler has a unique inner cylinder and stainless steel wool baffle, which enables the race muffler to preform at higher temperatures than the standard VORTEX resulting in a greater burn and much crisper performance.

The race muffler will work on all vehicles although the performance is not greatly noticeable on vehicles with less than 250kw or 270hp.

The VORTEX race muffler is recommended for all high performance vehicles with more than 250kw or 270hp.
